ABOUT ME

Mycheille Norvell is a diverse writer that enjoys giving strength to female heroes that live in the real world and imaginary worlds of her own creation. She has been fabricating these alternate realities since she was 13, when she crafted her first novel. Along with storytelling, Mycheille has always enjoyed song writing, and believed she would be a rock star one day, or at the very least, a professional song writer when she grew up.

Mycheille’s preference is writing novels and she constantly strives to keep her work up-to-date and original. Unencumbered by genre, her work ranges from comedy to tragedy; fantasy to realistic fiction, and science fiction.

She is currently looking for a publisher for her four-book series titled The Decider, about Kaidence Harrow, a 16-year-old girl that discovers she has special powers known as Gifts, after running for three years with her little brother who is also Gifted. Kaid finds out that her Gift is the most dangerous and sought after, and she must decide whether her Gift will control her or whether she will help to overthrow the corrupted dictator collecting the Gifted people. Along with writing novels, Mycheille uses her spare time to read or paint.

In 2014, Mycheille graduated from Full Sail University with a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment, and self-published her first short story, "I am Hope" on Smashwords.com. She is self-publishing her book Fighting for Mona this summer. The book follows 17-year-old Mona who is sent off to a ranch for the summer. Mona's story takes you on her journey as she juggles friendships, first love, and ever-changing opinions.

In her normal life, Mycheille travels to her imaginary worlds of Anistina and Lunatoria… or can be found more down to Earth in Montana and Oregon, chasing after her daughter, Abby Joy.
